Endowment Fund

On March 3, 2007, a group of community leaders and longtime friends of the Chorus gathered at the home Dr. Jesse R. Peel to officially launch an endowment fund to support a future of artistic excellence for the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus.

The endowment, managed by the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, will permanently provide monies to fund guest artists, musicians, commissioned works, and other special projects not funded in the AGMC general operating budget. The corpus will generate interest income for the organization in perpetuity.

The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus is grateful for the vision and leadership of Dr. Peel and those who joined him as founding members for making this dream a reality.
